Welcome to the Third Grade
Parents/Guardians,
Welcome back to school and to the third grade. I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. We have a very exciting and busy year ahead of us!
I would like to introduce myself before we begin our short introduction to the third grade. I am Ashley Blake Lawson and I have lived in Limeston County for 3 years now with my husband. I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. I enjoy reading, biking, and going to movies. I feel very fortunate to be a faculty member here at Sharon Elementary.
I understand that teaching your child is a privilege, as well as a great responsibility. I will do my best this coming year to ensure that each student has a positive and motivating learning experience in this classroom. However I cannot achieve this without your help. We both need to be partners in the learning process. Third grade is a very fun but important year of education. Expect to see your child have a little more difficulty this year as the curriculum becomes more strenuous. But if we work together your child will not only achieve they will flourish.
